Using the relatively new technique of firing porcelain with horse hair, these vessels' finished look is totally random, chosen by the 1,500 degree hot pot. Horse Mane hair and Tail hair lend themselves to different effects once they hit the pot. Every horsehair vessel is one of a kind, hand-thrown on the pottery wheel and later, lovingly heated and hair applied. Horse Hair vessels are porous and do not hold water.
