Rebecca Kelman
Rebecca Kelman has always had the urge to paint, but it wasn't until she was 44 that she let it out. She grew up the daughter of an interior designer and remembers being fascinated with colors and patterns and designs. Between youthful rebellion and a lack of patience for the detail work that went into her father's work, Rebecca chose an entirely different path. She graduated from college with a BA in Economics (but something inside her still made her minor in Art History). Ignoring her lack of patience for detail, she made a career in the brokerage industry. The initial attraction of all that money, other people's money, lost its appeal in time, and she found herself less and less comfortable in the world.
Rebecca's life turned around one day when her daughter said she wanted a sky on her ceiling. Well, one thing led to another and now she has an entire garden in her room! Once the urge inside her was unleashed, Rebecca couldn't put it back in. She discovered flower pots as an outlet for her artistic muse, and that led to the creation oher company. It continues to grow and now she can create on flower pots, glass, pottery, vases, jewelry boxes and much, much more.Artist images: [Image 1] |
